We are currently seeking two highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologists to join a dedicated team within a correctional centre in Sydney. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for conducting expert psychological assessments and interventions for high-risk inmates, with a focus on criminogenic risk assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.Supported by a team of case managers, welfare offices and chaplains as well as an onsite clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including criminogenic risk assessments and psychometric testing, for high-risk inmates.
- Administer and interpret risk assessments to manage inmate behaviors, particularly for high-risk individuals.
- Write detailed pre-sentence consultations for the Parole Unit and actively participate in case management meetings.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate therapeutic programs aimed at promoting behavioral change, anger management, addiction mitigation, and community reintegration.
- Provide supervision and support to a team of psychologists, ensuring adherence to practice standards and encouraging professional development.
- Offer expert psychological evidence and support in court proceedings when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum four-year accredited qualification in Psychology with full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Board Approved Supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Preferred experience in correctional or institutional settings, with a strong focus on criminogenic risk assessment and high-risk offenders.
- Preferred prior experience in team leadership and supervision of other psychologists.
