We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to contribute to the design and development of innovative, user-centric digital services. This role will see you collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless, accessible, and high-quality digital experiences that enhance service delivery.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in designing intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible digital experiences. You will work within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment, partnering with product managers, engineers, content designers, and UX researchers to translate ideas into engaging digital interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of end-to-end product experiences, ensuring solutions are user-centric and aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to create high-quality interaction and visual designs for digital products, ensuring accessibility and usability.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, style guides, and interaction patterns, ensuring consistency across digital platforms.
• Participate in user research and usability testing, leveraging insights to refine and validate design decisions.
• Provide leadership and mentor ship to designers, supporting their professional development and ensuring design excellence.
• Present design decisions to internal and external stakeholders, providing justifications and incorporating feedback to enhance outcomes.
• Advocate for digital inclusion and accessibility, ensuring all users, including those with disabilities, can interact with products effortlessly.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in UI/UX design, particularly within large-scale enterprise or government environments.
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, user-centred design methodologies, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2).
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma (for high-fidelity UI designs), FigJam or Miro (for collaboration), and Jira (for project management).
• Experience working with cross-functional product teams, managing stakeholders, and advocating for high-quality design outcomes within regulatory frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of responsive web design, Atomic Design methodology, and mobile app design (HIG and Material Design).
• Ability to translate user research and data insights into effective design solutions, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and present design rationales effectively.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with motion and animation design, using tools such as Protopie, After Effects, or Lottie.
• Familiarity with human-centred design (HCD) and service design methodologies.
• Prior experience contributing to large-scale digital transformation projects.
