Senior Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities will include:
- Lead procurement and contracts management initiatives to drive successful capital delivery outcomes.
- Provide expert support for tendering activities, including bid evaluation, ensuring a fair and transparent process.
- Oversee contract formation and administration, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance standards.
- Facilitate high-stakes negotiations and effectively resolve disputes to maintain project momentum and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Proactively identify opportunities for enhancement, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and driving sustainable, long-term cost reductions.
About You:
- Proven experience leading procurement processes through effective management and facilitation, achieving desired outcomes at the lowest overall cost and best value for money.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage all stages of the procurement and contracting life cycle on a project basis.
- Extensive experience in procurement within heavy industry, resources, energy, or similar capital project environments.
- Strong expertise in stakeholder engagement, contract negotiation, contract management, and dispute resolution.
- A contemporary procurement mindset, adept at achieving commercial outcomes while upholding high standards of sustainability, supplier relationship management (SRM), and probity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
