STC manages the North East Link road and oversees toll operations for Victoria’s largest transport project. Salary: $130,000-$150,000 plus Superannuation

About the Role:
As Senior Procurement Officer you will play a pivotal role in engaging stakeholders to plan and execute procurement initiatives for STC. You will also be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to develop market strategy, leading supplier negotiations and providing commercial support.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Lead the end-to-end procurement activities for STC
- Draft Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) compliant procurement documentation.
- Internal and external point of contact in procurement matters.
- Develop relationships with senior stakeholders, within and outside of the public sector.
- Act as STCs’ Subject Matter Expert on procurement and contract management
Key Requirements:
- Technical and Specialist Knowledge:
- A strong understanding of VGPB procurement regulations and policies.
- 5-10 years’ experience managing all aspects of the procurement lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience managing contracts and vendor relationships.
- Exceptional business and commercial acumen
- Ability to work autonomously and proven problem-solving skills
- Internal and external stakeholder management, focussed on providing win-win supplier outcomes
- Support execution of high value and complex commercial negotiations
