Seeking Senior/Principal Control Systems Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. Reporting to the Senior Principal Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation of projects within the EPC business unit and will provide technical advice relating to Conrrol System design, preparation of design through to project completion.
Key duties
- Prepare controls design work to meet engineering specifications and comply with standards.
- Writing functional descriptions, programming PLCs, SCADA development, network systems design and configuration.
- Procurement of materials and equipment to complete projects
- Liaise with client on project objectives, project team and suppliers.
- Coordinate estimates for controls engineering work.
- Perform factory testing, site commissioning and testing of installed controls equipment.
About you
- Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Systems), automation or mechatronic
- Senior/ Principal level of Control Systems Engineering with CPEng certification
- PLC programming (Schneider / Allen-Bradley / Siemens)
- Experience with PLC and SCADA systems
- Creating Functional descriptions, FAT and SAT documentation
- Control System Design and implementation including Network Design
- Visual Basic for Applications (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative and problem solving ability
- Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Project
- Drivers License
