HR Partners by Randstad is excited to be representing an ASX listed strong market name in retail, logistics and supply chain for a Senior People and Culture Business Partner role that is based at Macquarie Park. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture you will partner closely with the CEO and senior leaders for three different business units. This role will focus on driving culture, engagement, talent management, and leadership development across NSW, VIC, WA and SA. Responsibilities include:
- Managing client portfolio (Three Business units) and stakeholder engagement and overall operational requirements
- Bi monthly multi-site travel to another interstate site and local site travel
- Strategic People Plans: develop the annual people plan for the teams you partner with
- Organisational Effectiveness: organisational structure, workforce planning and change management initiatives
- Leadership Development and capability: Coach and support leadership on all employee life cycle matters i.e., ER, IR, OHS, risk mitigation, Performance Management and Improvements, etc. Developing people capability at all levels.
- Build and implement HR solutions and internal policy and process improvements
- Talent and workforce planning: Partner with talent acquisition team for recruitment needs, employee engagement and retention programs/initiatives
- Lead and manage core people appraisals - performance management, reviews, compensation planning, bonus
- An understanding of workplace relations matters especially ER and IR grievance handling and case management, Awards and EBA interpretations/advisory and union dealings
To be successful in this position, you will be:
- A true HR generalist (ideally minimum of 10 years experience)
- Strong HR knowledge, skills and experience
- Ideally has come from a similar industry/sector (blue collar and unionised) i.e., FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics
- Learning agile, self-starter with a proactive approach.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work in a relaxed and colloquial environment.
- Ideally you have a driver’s license for travel to other sites in NSW and in other states.
