Duties of the Role:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely payroll processing.
- Perform payroll transactions, including pay increments, back-pay calculations, termination payments, and salary packaging.
- Interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and contracts to calculate staff entitlements.
- Assist with month-end processes, including salary and leave accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager on taxation matters and provide support as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries promptly.
- Maintain strict privacy and confidentiality in all payroll-related activities.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned to support organisational goals.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and statutory payroll requirements.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations and record-keeping.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive and responsive approach.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
