Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a mechanical project design team to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
- Oversee the detailed design and procurement of mechanical systems from concept to commissioning.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
- Prepare designs that comply with engineering specifications, statutory, and safety requirements.
- Provide tender support, estimates, and progress reports to achieve project profitability.
- Conduct factory inspections, testing, and commissioning of installed equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement in internal systems and processes.
- Assist in recruiting and mentoring design staff, contributing to team growth and success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).
- Experience: Demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering within an EPC environment.
- 7+ Years experience for the Senior role, less we can consider you for other roles.
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and project management software.
- Attributes: Initiative, accountability, and a results-driven mindset.
- Essential: Driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate as needed.
