The Senior Maritime Asset Manager will oversee the strategic management of maritime assets, ensuring the efficient maintenance and optimisation of key infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing and implementing asset management strategies that align with sustainability goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Leading a team, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to drive the ongoing improvement of asset performance and lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Asset Management: Develop and implement asset management strategies for maritime infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and long-term value.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of key maritime assets, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring effective maintenance and longevity.
- Maintenance Planning: Lead the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption and optimal asset performance.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Drive sustainability and environmental strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
- Condition Appraisals: Manage condition appraisals and assessments to determine asset health and prioritise investments for future capital works.
- Cost Profiling & Budgeting: Oversee cost profiling, budget management, and financial forecasting to support asset-related projects and maintenance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of asset management professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Consultant Collaboration: Work closely with consultants and vendors to manage critical asset management projects, including condition assessments and asset optimisation.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide regular reports to senior leadership on asset performance, strategic initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Strong experience in maritime asset management, infrastructure planning, and maintenance optimisation.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a diverse team.
- Deep knowledge of asset management frameworks, including ISO55001 and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, particularly in managing complex projects and initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess asset condition and recommend improvements.
- Familiarity with government infrastructure frameworks and regulatory compliance.
