We’re looking for a seasoned insurance leader with deep expertise in home claims management and a strong background in leading high performing teams specifically, leaders and managers rather than frontline claims staff.
This 12-month max term contract As Senior Manager – CAT Claims, you’ll oversee large scale, event related home claims across the country. You’ll be responsible for driving performance for your team of 7-8 reports, managing complex portfolios, and ensuring clear and effective communication around claim progress. With a focus on strategy, reporting, and operational excellence, you’ll play a key role in supporting customers through major events and ensuring teams are aligned, informed, and delivering at pace.
What you’ll bring:
Extensive experience managing home insurance claims at a senior management level (min 5 years)
Proven success in leading leaders, with direct and indirect reports under your remit
Strong knowledge of CAT/event-related claims, with the ability to manage escalations and monitor claim progress
A performance-driven mindset, with a passion for solving problems and delivering outcomes
Willingness to travel as required, including quarterly visits to Sydney and on-the-ground presence at recovery hubs
