Responsibilities:
- Ensures the integrity of financial systems and maintains these systems in accordance with Departmental standards.
- Monitors the ongoing maintenance, operations and performance of systems.
- Manages and coordinates system development alongside business process improvement.
- Manages and leads the implementation of project work to innovate current systems.
- Provides timely advice to senior management on the status and application of financial systems.
- Contributes to the development of risk management strategies and systems to protect financial information and systems.
- Collaborates with relevant key stakeholders to provide timely and effective system support services to the directorate and project team.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience using Financial Management Information System Software Technology One is essential for this role.
- Proven experience in developing ETL / workflows within Technology one.
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting standard processes and procedures.
- Experience of using reporting solutions such as XLONE and Power BI.
- High level of project management skills, with proven achievement of outcomes.
- Experience in leading staff through periods of change and structure.
- A qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field is highly desire able.
