We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to lead our finance team and drive strategic financial initiatives across the business.
About the Opportunity
As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will lead a high-performing team of finance professionals and provide strategic financial insights to support the business. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring robust financial management across all departments. Your key deliverables will include:
- Lead and mentor a team of Finance Business Partners, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals while enhancing financial performance through management accounting duties.
- Collaborate with Head of FP&A and senior leaders to develop financial strategies, providing insightful analysis to inform decision-making and support academic and operational priorities.
- Drive and participate in strategic projects that add value to financial operations, identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Maximise Power BI and other analytical tools to deliver data-driven insights and reporting, enhancing decision-making and financial planning.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to enhance governance and compliance while fostering a culture of financial accountability and transparency.
Ideal Profile
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualifications, with extensive experience in a senior finance business partnering role in a complex management environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a track record of driving financial performance.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
