Randstad are currently working with a Queensland Government Department to find a Senior Data Modeller. This is an initial contract until 24/12/2025 with potential of extension and is based in Brisbane CBD.
Key Responsibilities:

- Provide data modelling support and best practice guidance to the Projects including oversight, governance, and design of the Dataverse common data layer.
- Support the functioning, outputs and actions of the Program’s Data Design Forums.
- Embed as a team member within the Projects as required, with the aim of supporting data related transition design requirements, effectively supporting the architectural scaffolding transition as applications are on-boarded into the Dataverse environment.
- Design and support the development of physical data models as required by the projects, likely to be focused on shared data entities.
- Provide data design governance across the Dataverse and One Lake deliverables to ensure continuity of design across the end-to-end solution.
- Lead the harvesting of relevant as built and/or data design diagrams and documents into a curated repository, effectively developing a knowledge base for hand over to business-as-usual processes.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- Previous experience (3+ years) in Microsoft Dataverse, Azure Pipelines/Fabric and Power Apps Flows. Microsoft certification, such as Power Platform Developer Associate or Azure certifications, are highly desirable.
- Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment.
