The Opportunity
As part of an ongoing company expansion, a permanent full-time opportunity has become available within the company commercial team for a Senior Contracts Manager. In this key role, the successful candidate will provide strategic budget planning advice and oversee contract management. As a leader, they will mentor and guide the commercial team, driving success and fostering growth within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high standards of budgeting forecasts and contract management are consistently maintained.
- Lead key strategic projects aligned with procurement and contract management priorities.
- Provide expert strategic advice on systems, reports, policies, legislation, and procedures.
- Drive the successful delivery of contractual performance and outcomes.
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships, engaging with internal teams and influencing external parties effectively.

Investigate, evaluate, and recommend budgeting priorities to support business objectives.
Oversee the development and management of contract formation, tender requests, extensions, and variations.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize delivery performance.Lead critical tender negotiations and analyze quotes and tenders to ensure successful evaluations.Monitor and control project and subcontract budgets to maintain financial integrity.Offer expert guidance on procurement policy and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.Selection Criteria
- Proven ability to manage high value complex projects and provide leadership
- Tertiary qualifications in Law or Commerce will be highly regarded
- Minimum of 5 years experience in contract management
- Current NV1 or baseline clearance is advantageous
- High standard of interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
