The Role
The role will work as part of the New Website Project Team to review and publish content. This role will also support the digital reskinning of systems and applications and support the quality assurance of new templates for Microsoft Office 365. The Content Publisher will undertake work that is complex in nature and will be able to work under limited direction.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and publishing web content transferred by other staff members, ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
- Publishing reviewed web content in Drupal CMS.
- Ensuring that the transferred and published content is accessible, accurate, and in the right location.
- Maintaining accurate records of what content has been transferred and published.
- Support the rollout of the new brand and design system to applications and online systems (digital reskinning) by engaging with stakeholders to implement new branding in existing systems.
- Undertake quality assurance and testing activities over new templates for Microsoft Office 365.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Essential criteria
- Proven experience using Drupal CMS, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of HTML and of Australian Government online standards and their application, particularly Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), the Australian Government Style Manual, and the Digital Service Standard.
- High level skills in using templates in the Microsoft 365 operating environment.
- Ability to work under limited supervision to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
