Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst who will play a critical role within digital projects, focusing on enhancing community service and staff experience processes and platforms. This position is crucial for integrating technical solutions with business needs, aligning digital transformation initiatives with strategic goals, and delivering superior services.
Accountabilities
• Lead the documentation and work with the business to uplift the internal knowledge base system, mapping of all relevant processes across key services, taking into account any policy or procedural business requirements.
• Create detailed Business Requirements Documentations for proposed solutions, securing business endorsement before development . Develop user stories and acceptance criteria, documenting them in project management systems such as JIRA.
• Work closely with both business and technical teams to deeply understand requirements and mandatory considerations, which will influence the design direction of proposed solutions.
• Assist the Program Lead and Project Manager with critical project management tasks, including backlog development and prioritisation.
• Use data analytics to provide actionable insights that inform improvements in service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Quantify opportunities process inefficiencies and document opportunities for improvement to enhance internal efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with project leads to monitor timelines and dependencies, ensuring alignment with the digital transformation goals. Develop and implement detailed deployment plans that encompass both business and technical readiness activities.
Skills and experience required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in large, complex organisations.
• Proven expertise in digital transformation projects with a comprehensive understanding of digital technologies and platforms.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at explaining complex processes to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as MS Project, MS Planner, Promapp, and Miro.
• Experience with Workflow management processes and systems, CRM systems,particularly in a community service or public sector context.
• Experience in managing large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
