The role
As the Senior Asset Integrity Engineer you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the integrity management of pipelines and other assets across their life cycle, ensuring safe and reliable operations. This role involves the development and execution of advanced risk-based inspection, maintenance strategies, and the implementation of integrity management systems. The Senior Engineer will provide technical leadership, develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive asset integrity management plans, including pigging strategies, CP and defect remediation plans, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of pipelines and related assets throughout their life cycle.
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline eg, Mechanical, Chemical or Metallurgy, etc.
Circa 10 years experience in Oil & Gas sector with 2-5 years around high pressure pipelines
Sound understanding and experience with Australian Standards: AS2885, AS55001, AS2832, AS3788
Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust asset integrity management plans
Experience in leading investigations into asset failures or incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Experience in development of long-term asset integrity strategies, improvement of asset reliability, availability, and safety.
Demonstrated experience in data management and analysis with ability to act and make technical decision
Able to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills
Located in Adelaide with unrestricted Australian work rights
