Key Responsibilities:
- Support investment teams in identifying risks related to processes and achieving business objectives.
- Offer advice and constructive challenges to mitigate risks within business units.
- Map key business processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to detailed risk reviews and associated reporting to management and board committees.
- Test the design and effectiveness of business unit controls.
- Manage incident responses and develop remedial actions to prevent recurrence.
- Assist business units in preparing for and responding to internal audit requests.
- Promote a positive risk management culture.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Relevant experience, ideally with a strong understanding of risk profiling and control testing in the investment management or financial services industry.
- Experience in operational excellence, process optimisation, or process mapping and analysis is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail, methodical, and accurate.
- Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
