Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full accounts payable function, including processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
- Ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4 direct reports, providing guidance, training, and performance management
- Maintain and manage supplier relationships to ensure smooth transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes, including reporting and accruals
- Resolve any accounts payable discrepancies and issues efficiently
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- (Ideal) Experience in developing or creating policies and procedures to improve the accounts payable process and ensure compliance with company standards
Skills & Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- At least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory position
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
