As a Full-Time English Teacher, you’ll be part of a collaborative team, working alongside other educators in open-plan teaching spaces. The school prides itself on providing strong professional development, with opportunities to grow within the school and progress into leadership roles. This role involves teaching high school students (Years 7-12) and working closely with colleagues to deliver engaging, student-centred lessons that cater to diverse needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and deliver creative and engaging English lessons that inspire students and support their academic growth.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Analyse student data to identify learning gaps and implement strategies to help students improve their academic performance.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of teachers to share ideas, resources, and best practices, ensuring that all students receive the best possible education.
- Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers to support students' growth and development both inside and outside the classroom.
- Contribute to the broader school community by participating in extra-curricular activities and school events.

About You:
- A tertiary qualification in Education (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete).
- A passion for teaching English and a commitment to delivering an inspiring educational experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Experience or an interest in supporting students with diverse learning needs is desirable.
- Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation – Working with Children Check clearance.
- Eligibility to work in Australia and registration with NESA is mandatory.
