We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Functional Lead - SAP SD/OTC to join our client’s team and lead the implementation of a template solution for the Order to Cash (OTC) business process. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong track record of successful SAP S/4HANA implementations, especially in the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and OTC areas, with a focus on driving business transformation and system optimisation. As a Functional Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading workshops, designing solutions, and managing the overall functional delivery of the SAP SD/OTC solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Fit/Gap Workshops: Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and process architects to identify gaps, define requirements, and design solutions.
- SAP SD/OTC Solution Design: Lead the design and configuration of the SAP SD/OTC solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Configuration & WRICEF: Define configuration requirements and oversee the development of WRICEF (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects to meet business needs.
- Solution Testing & Validation: Manage and support the testing of the designed solutions, ensuring successful implementation and system integration.
- Data Migration & Validation: Assist in validating data migration processes to ensure the successful transfer of data into the new SAP solution.
- Go-Live Support: Provide hands-on support during go-live and post-go-live activities, ensuring smooth system transitions and issue resolution.
- Business and Stakeholder Management: Develop strong relationships with business leaders, functional teams, and other stakeholders to drive the success of the SAP SD/OTC implementation.
- Customisation & Optimisation: Customise SAP SD/OTC to meet specific business requirements, optimising processes and improving system performance.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve functional issues and defects, presenting effective solutions to meet business needs.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Extensive SAP Experience: Proven track record with at least 4 full end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations, with leadership experience in the SAP SD/OTC module.
- Commodity Pricing & Batch Management: Experience with commodity pricing and batch management in an SAP SD/OTC environment.
- SAP SCM-MM: Solid experience implementing SAP SCM-MM in industries like mining or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD and an understanding of related modules such as MM and WM.
- Fit/Gap Analysis & Workshop Leadership: Ability to lead FIT/GAP workshops and collaborate with business and process architects to design effective solutions.
- SAP SD Customisation: Expertise in customising SAP SD/OTC solutions and a deep understanding of core data structures and data flows.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to deliver critical activities within tight timelines and under pressure.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
- Ability to self-manage, plan, and prioritise tasks with minimal oversight, escalating risks when necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills to drive issue resolution and optimise business processes.

- Manufacturing or Mining Experience: Experience implementing SAP in the manufacturing or mining industry is highly valued.
- Global Template Implementations: Experience rolling out globally designed SAP template solutions in regional or subsidiary markets.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- S4HANA Expertise: Demonstrated experience in multiple S4HANA implementations within the SAP SD/OTC domain.
- Deep knowledge of SAP SD/OTC configuration, business processes, and system optimisation.
- Ability to drive functional delivery of projects and manage the end-to-end solution lifecycle in SAP SD/OTC.
