We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in implementing and optimising SAP S/4HANA solutions for our clients, providing technical expertise in system installations, configurations, and ongoing support.
As a member of our SAP Practice, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies and work on exciting projects that shape the future of business. You will leverage your deep knowledge of SAP Basis, NetWeaver, and HANA components to design robust SAP landscapes, recommend future-proof architecture, and improve system performance across large, multi-instance SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage SAP Basis/NetWeaver installations, upgrades, configurations, and maintenance.
- Provide expertise in the management of SAP systems across various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and databases (Oracle, Sybase, HANA).
- Monitor incidents on a daily basis, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.
- Troubleshoot and tune system performance, identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Perform system refresh activities and system health checks.
- Manage batch job scheduling, RFC’s, spool management, and backups.
- Lead the design and roadmap development for future SAP landscape implementations, including SAP HANA.
- Collaborate with internal teams and offshore resources to implement technical solutions.
- Provide guidance on cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, SAP Cloud, etc.) and their integration with SAP environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience with SAP Basis, NetWeaver, and ABAP/Java stacks.
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and system refresh activities.
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, Unix/Linux command writing, and cluster administration.
- Strong performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system health check skills.
- Experience in incident management, change management, and service request handling within AMS projects.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and Gateway is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, SAP Cloud, etc.) is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to take ownership of tasks.

Mandatory Requirements:
