We are looking for an experienced SAP Access & Security Administrator to join our clients dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and securing SAP portfolio applications, ensuring compliance, and enabling seamless system functionality across key business areas.
You will focus on user access control, security role management, compliance, and supporting the organisation's digital transformation initiatives. By collaborating with stakeholders and delivery partners, you’ll ensure our systems operate efficiently and meet evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Management:
- Analyse, design, and update security roles in SAP systems, ensuring compliance with governance and access policies.
- Assign and maintain user access across platforms such as SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Simple Finance, BO, and Solman.
- Manage payslip access for staff, user name updates for new hires, and access assignments for school-related approvals.
- Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to financial delegation policies, including role assignments in Simple Finance and Expensify approvals.
- Conduct periodic license and governance audits, including annual SAP license reviews.
- Maintain purchasing group and cost centre relationships for HR organisational units.
- System Maintenance & Enhancements:
- Coordinate defect resolution, system fixes, and enhancements.
- Collaborate with HR and technical teams to analyse and resolve data replication and system issues.
- Review and implement bi-annual SuccessFactors updates, opting into new features as required.
- Process Improvement & Support:
- Act as a second-level support resource, resolving incidents, defects, and problems to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and address CPI replication failures and coordinate with specialised support resources.
- Develop and maintain system and procedural documentation to support functions.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and system changes.
- Liaise with developers to guide solution design and feature development.
- Lead communication of system outages, change requests, and CAB Change Request approvals.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualifications or equivalent experience in IT, security, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in SAP ERP, BO, and SuccessFactors; experience with Workforce is desirable.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing access control frameworks.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and project methodologies (SDLC, Agile).
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and managing compliance processes.
- Ability to analyse complex systems, resolve issues, and recommend process improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, motivate, and influence effectively.
