● Work both on-site and in the office 50/50,
● Offer support to management, project teams, and contractors regarding safety
and environmental responsibilities, including the preparation, review, and
maintenance of related documentation.
● Assist in reviewing essential data and reports (ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001) and
contribute to developing strategies to address any identified weaknesses.
● Enhance employee HSE training by contributing to the development and delivery
of internal programs and managing the booking process with external training
providers.
● Assist in reporting and resolving workplace incidents, including follow-up on
corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness.
● Engage in risk management practices and ensure quality management through
the maintenance of records and documents related to health, safety, and
environmental matters.
● Create client-specific HSE documentation (e.g., SWMS)
You will have:
● Tertiary qualification in OHS or similar or suitable work experience.
● Full driver’s licence (the role will require you to use company vehicles to drive to
various sites throughout the day).
● Knowledge or experience in OHS requirements for high risk construction.
● Experience within fit out or commercial construction
● Experience in training, coaching and mentoring (preferably in EHS).
● Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
● Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to build effective working relationships.
● Ability to coordinate and drive multiple tasks simultaneously.
● Consultative approach and client solution focused.
● Ability to solve problems and provide advice.
● Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
