about the role
The Risk and Quality Assurance Coordinator is accountable to the Manager of Governance and Compliance for:
- Building a High-Performance Culture: Engage staff to improve efficiency and effectiveness by identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Risk Management: Identify, mitigate, monitor, and manage risks across the Public Trustee.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to standards, processes, and methodologies in personal estate, deceased estate, will writing, and trust administration.
- Internal Reviews: Coordinate (2nd line) internal risk and quality assurance reviews.
- Control Self-Assessment: Administer and coordinate the Public Trustee Control Self-Assessment Program.

about you
- Experience: Proven experience in quality and risk management, preferably within the public sector.
- Qualifications: Appropriate post-secondary qualification in Quality Management, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Skills: High-level interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Experience in conducting and investigating complex complaints.
- Leadership: Ability to influence and engage people in process reform and drive cultural change.
