Retail Communications Coordinator - 3 month Contract - Permanent residents & Citizens Only
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Communications Coordinator to join our team on a 3-month contract basis, with the potential to become a permanent position. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and updating this Retailers website, ensuring consistency, and delivering high-quality communications in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to support our independent retailers through effective communication strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support communication strategies.
- Manage multiple inboxes, address requests, and support retailers and area managers.
- Plan, produce, and deliver timely communications to retailers.
- Develop and manage EDM campaigns with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Review and update user databases and content.
- Support the implementation of new communication processes and system updates.
- Review and improve current processes for more efficient communications.
Requirements
- Please note - only Permanent Residents OR Citizens can hold this role as the role is looking to be made permanent after the 3 month contract.
- A degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar communications role.
- Experience in the food and beverage and/or retail sector is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in Content Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, editing, and copywriting skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with Salesforce, Adobe Photoshop, MailChimp or similar, and Google Analytics is desirable.
