Report Build Specialist - 6 month contract - Sydney CBD/Hybrid
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Report Build Specialist to join a leading insurer for a 6 month contract role - possible extension. The purpose of the role is with limited source documentation, to analyse and reverse engineer Cognos reports and packages, technically documenting them, and then rebuild as SAP Business Objects Webi reports.
About the role
- Webi report design, build capability with BO v4.2
- Cognos report design and build capability
- SQL development capabilities
- Interact with business (non technical) users/stakeholders for requirements gathering, UAT, PVT and Warranty period fixes
About you
- Previous experience with BO v4.2 Webi report design, build capability
- Strong documentation skills being able to document "as built" with minimal jargon and high degree of completeness and accuracy
- Ability to reverse engineer Cognos reports with limited or no documentation
- Understanding of the insurance domain
