These contracts pay higher hourly rates than traditional nursing roles. With contracts ranging from 4 to 12 weeks, this is an opportunity to work in diverse environments whilst making a meaningful impact on the community.
We are currently recruiting Remote Area Nurses (RAN) for rural and remote nursing contracts in Northern Queensland
About you:
- Qualified with a Bachelor of Nursing
- Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Australian work rights (no sponsorship offered for these roles)
- National Police Clearance within 12 months (or willing to obtain)
- Current serology proof of vaccinations including: MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, Hep B.
- Current mandatory training certificates
Mandatory qualifications and experience for RAN roles:
- Minimum 5 years experience experience as a Registered Nurse in Emergency settings
- Current ALS and PALS certifications
- Current Triage and Resus certifications
- Highly desirable: ieMR experience & proficiency in using this system
- Mandatory for certain roles/highly desirable for others: MEC and REC certifications (maternity emergency care / remote emergency care)
