Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets across the APAC region. Tailor approaches to diverse markets and customer needs.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new clients and market segments. Build and maintain relationships with mining companies, distributors, and industry influencers.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts. Understand client needs and deliver tailored chemical solutions that enhance their mining operations.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals. Set performance goals, provide training, and foster a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve targets.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales, specifically within the chemical solutions or mining industry. Experience in the APAC region is highly desirable.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the mining industry, including operational processes and chemical solutions. Familiarity with regional market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
- Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the APAC region.
