Quarry Materials Technician | Gold Coast
📍 Location: Nerang, Gold Coast QLD
💰 Pay Rate: $33 - $34 p.h. + Super, Penalties
⏳ Full-Time | 50-55 hrs per week | Monthly RDO
What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Perform field sampling of aggregates and conduct laboratory testing
✔ Maintain equipment calibrations and ensure compliance with NATA standards

✔ Work closely with internal teams, providing technical support for quarry operations
✔ Use LIMS, Excel, and other software to manage test data and reporting
✔ Work a 50-55 hour week, including occasional Saturdays, with generous penalty rates
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Experience in aggregate testing (AS1289 & TMRQ methods)
🔹 Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques (preferred but not essential)
🔹 Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
🔹 IT literacy with experience in Excel, Outlook, and reporting systems
🔹 Valid QLD manual driver’s license and ability to work overtime when required
