Quality Supervisor
The opportunity:
The Quality Supervisor will oversee a team supporting the Quality Manager in Quality Assurance inspection, ensuring the timely delivery of both the internal auditing program and conforming product to manufacturing processes.
...Responsibilities of your new role:
- Writing and revising technical documents (policies, procedures, work instructions, internal standards, test reports and specification).
- Provide mentoring and on the job training as applicable for QA to assist management with inspections and quality inspection log transactions / activities.
- Adhere to quality management principles and processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Standard.
- Provide guidance to other departments on the acquisition and processing of data to aid process and product improvement.
- Perform the receiving and final inspection of the products as per the technical specifications.
- Develop and implement quality training and awareness programs.
- Supervise the activities of quality inspection staff.
- Support other Quality Manager tasks as appropriate.
What you will need to be successful in the position:
- Recognised qualification in relevant field
- Well-organised with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in an electronics field would be an advantage.
- Certification in management system standards e.g., ISO 9001 is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
