Randstad Defence is currently working with a top tier Defence company that develops and manufactures radar systems for defence. Due to a high demand of their products, they are seeking an experienced engineer to manage the performance of their systems to ensure their products, services, and systems meet the quality and compliance standards.
This is a permanent full-time position based in their Canberra Office.
The candidate must be an Australian citizen and be eligible to obtain a security clearance or have a NV1 or Baseline Security Clearance.
About the Role
As a part of the quality management team, you will perform tasks associated with developing and implementing quality management systems and standards to support the Quality manager in ensuring overall quality and compliance of products, service, and systems are effectively maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation, development and improvement of quality strategy plans, policies,procedures and practices as described in the Management System.
- Work with key stakeholders to achieve product, service and asset performance targets.
- Plan, schedule and conduct internal audits.
- Raise and report any risks associated with the quality management system and processes.
- Provide remedial solutions to any non conformance associated with quality management.
- Ensure quality management practices and procedures are followed in all areas of the business.
Essential Skills/Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electronics engineering, or relevant experience in quality management in regulated industries.
- Knowledge of quality management software and tools.
- AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance and above.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
