Responsibilities of your new role:

• Writing and revising technical documents (policies, procedures, work instructions, internal standards, test reports and specification).
• Adhere to quality management principles and processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Standard.
• Manage new tools and instruments and external calibrations.
• Develop and maintain documentation by understanding its application and interaction to defence standards, internal company standards and ISO 9001.
• Perform the receiving and final inspection of the products as per the technical specifications.
• Identify any non-conformances and coordinate with the stakeholders for action.
• Provide support during regulatory inspections, supplier audits, customer audits & ISO 9001 Audits.

What you will need to be successful in the position:

• Recognised qualification in relevant field
• Well-organised with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with management systems, document structure, and quality across diverse business environments.
• Certification in management system standards e.g., ISO 9001 is highly desirable.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

This is a 12 month contract position based in Canberra, ACT.
