The Company
We're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join a global beverage leader and support the implementation and maintenance of Quality and Food Safety Systems across co-packers in the region. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and providing technical support across multiple programs.
The Role
- Implement and manage the client's Quality System with local co-packers/bottlers to meet corporate and regulatory standards.
- Monitor quality and food safety programs, conduct audits, and ensure corrective actions are taken when needed.
- Investigate customer complaints and partner with co-packers to resolve and prevent issues.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans (CAP), including documentation and follow-up in internal systems.
- Lead and support assessments and audits across Australia and New Zealand, including B2B Fountain Assessments.
- Contribute to key regional quality initiatives like HACCP, EMP, microbiological controls, and broader sustainability goals.
- Provide technical and administrative support for internal projects.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality systems within a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GFSI, HACCP), food safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Solid background in root cause analysis, audit preparation, and quality reporting.
- Understanding of sustainability in areas like water, energy, packaging, and supply chain.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with co-packers, customer teams, and handling audits is highly desirable.
