To become a rigger in Australia, you require specific qualifications. Pursue an apprenticeship and Certificate III in rigging from a registered training organisation (RTO). To work as a dogman, you need a rigging and dogging licence or a high-risk work licence. Since you work in construction, you also need a White Card.
