We are looking for a motivated Property Officer to join a local council in the North of Melbourne on a 6-week initial assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of the Property Services team by supporting key property management functions, ensuring exceptional customer service, and assisting with various project initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the smooth running of property operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in property management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal with public land manager consent applications
- Oversee new leases, invoicing, and maintain lease registers.
- Respond to tenant emails, manage requests, and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Contribute to the creation of reports, documents, and media releases for the department.
- Assist with project coordination and provide comprehensive administrative support.
- Deliver top-notch customer service to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in property management or Project Officer related roles is required.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
