We are seeking an experienced Projects & Asset Delivery Manager to lead and manage key capital works and asset upgrade programs. This 6-month contract position is based in Dandenong, VIC, with the potential to extend to full-time. The role offers a competitive rate of up to $70 per hour and involves overseeing the procurement and delivery of capital works projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimising asset performance

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of capital works and asset upgrade programs.
• Overseeing the procurement process, including contractor and supplier management.
• Developing and managing asset life-cycle plans, ensuring compliance with government procurement requirements.
• Managing minor capital works bidding and overseeing the delivery of agreed works.
• Reporting regularly on project progress, time-lines, and budgets.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality projects.
• Ensuring compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies and relevant government regulations.
• Optimising asset performance through effective asset planning and management.

Key qualifications & experience required:

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in capital works and asset management.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent financial management skills with the ability to control budgets and resources effectively.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Formal qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience working in the tertiary or higher education sector is highly desirable.
