About the Opportunity
APS5 Project Support Officer, approx 12-month contract with a possibility of renewal. This full-time position offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. The role is based in Richmond with some in-office time is required. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.
About the Team
The Data and Analytics Branch supports the Agency by providing high quality data and reporting, translating insights into measurable business performance improvements. They are a centralised team focusing on future process improvement, delivering data and reporting effectively with clear accountabilities, while building data literacy capability across the branch and regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Support: Assist with project management activities, including consultation, planning, scheduling, reporting, and budgeting.
- Risk and Issue Reporting: Monitor and report on project risks, issues, and outputs, providing regular status updates and exception reports to stakeholders.
- Coordination and Communication: Serve as a coordination point for projects and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, third parties, and vendors to address and resolve project-related issues.
- Project Controls Development: Support the Project Manager in developing project controls, such as risk management, scheduling, change control, and reporting.
- Software Delivery Support: Aid in software delivery lifecycle activities, including scheduling, planning, and project controls, either as a support function or as a project manager when required.
Requirements
- Australian Citizenship
- Strong experience using project management tools, such as Microsoft Project
- Strong experience working with multiple project streams to generate a consolidated program level status report
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence administration
- Experience with defining and establishing program information architecture
