My client is a leading mechanical equipment company operating across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a knowledgeable and practical Project Manager to oversee and facilitate the supply of high-quality mechanical equipment to major and regional water authorities, Tier 1 contractors, and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to streamline project execution
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Providing technical guidance and support in mechanical design and engineering
- Utilizing 3D and 2D drafting software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD
- Overseeing the production of Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Conducting service inspections and research for engineering strategies
- Preparing technical information for quotes, tender responses, and sales literature
- Operating and maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience in project management within a respected land development or infrastructure company
- Tertiary qualification in mechanical, civil, process, or related engineering disciplines, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with site workers, business managers, and board-level directors
- Proficiency in mechanical design and engineering principles
- Ambition, drive, and a commitment to professional growth
