The Role
Your main responsibilities will be to lead and manage delivery of projects from initiation through to closure under the Institute’s project management framework and in collaboration with business areas. You will be supported by business analysts, technical experts, and subject matter experts to deliver projects.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Managing projects including the delivery of outcomes and benefits, scope boundaries, schedules, quality and budgets.
- Coordinating teams to enable project delivery and transition into service.
- Developing project documentation and reporting progress on delivery
- Managing relationships and communicating effectively with all project stakeholders, overcome obstacles to delivery through collaboration, communication, problem solving and negotiation
- Overseeing procurements and tenders and managing contracts resulting from procurement as they relate to project delivery
- Identifying and managing risks and overseeing the implementation of risk mitigation plans
- Conducting project reviews and creating reports for executive staff and project boards.
- Developing, monitoring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators which measure the success of the delivery of projects.
