Randstad Digital are currently working with one of Queensland’s largest employers to find a Senior Project Manager to join their team for a 2 year contract. This role is responsible for leading all aspects of the TRACE project, a key initiative reshaping how the council delivers on its Future Development Services Enablement (FDSE) and Workforce Management System Replacement (WMSR) programs.

- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for Microsoft Dynamics implementation, customisation, and integration projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and business units.
- Work with change management teams to develop strategies that promote user adoption and successful transition to Microsoft Dynamics.
- Oversee testing and validation of Microsoft Dynamics solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and functionality.
- Ensure adherence to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management Office (PMO) standards.
- Oversee training and support plans to ensure smooth handover and onboarding of users onto new systems.
Necessary Skills:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP/CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMBOK.
- Experience in managing vendors and third-party service providers.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
Desirable:
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Dynamics 365 integration projects.
- Experience in the public sector or large enterprise environments.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, PMP, or PRINCE2).
