Randstad Digital are currently working with a well-known Utilities organisation in Brisbane to find a Project Manager to join their team on a 6-month contract with the opportunity to extend past that point. This role involves working in the office which is in Brisbane’s CBD 3-days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members, business colleagues and vendors to ensure the capability (people, process, and technology solution) meets business requirements and is implemented using a structured, risk-managed approach to deliver fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Negotiate achievable deadlines with the business and plan project tasks, resources, budget, milestones etc from project execution through to delivery and handover to support.
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, budget, and all deployment deliverables.
- Monitor the progress of projects, track, and clear roadblocks.
- Ensure a regular cadence of meetings within the team and upwards with management, stakeholders and steering committees and ensure required documentation and reports within the project lifecycle and in accordance with the D&T delivery framework and is produced and maintained centrally.
Necessary Skills:
- 5+ years relevant, demonstrated experience in implementing technology-enabled improvements within similar sized organisations.
- Familiar with Agile project management principles.
- Proven experience in project management within the information and records management field.
- Strong understanding of information management principles, technologies and strategies would be desirable.
- Knowledge of the delivery of data driven document control activities and how they apply through the full lifecycle of Infrastructure, Resources and/or Energy projects.
- Certification in Project Management, PRINCE2, PMBoK or similar.
