As the Project Manager for the ESRI/GIS Platform Re-Architecture, you will be responsible for managing the successful transformation of the GIS infrastructure. You will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of this critical project, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, timeline, and budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex GIS /ESRI technical projects, strong vendor management expertise, and a proven track record in engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the re-architecture of the ESRI/GIS platform, ensuring the new solution meets business requirements and technical specifications.
Manage the project life cycle from initiation through to successful delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
Drive vendor relationships, ensuring clear communication, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment on project progress, risks, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
Conduct risk management and identify potential roadblocks to ensure smooth project delivery.
Ensure adherence to project budgets, managing any changes in scope or resources effectively.
Provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally with a focus on ESRI/GIS platforms or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of GIS architecture and the technical aspects of ESRI-based platforms.
Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work across teams and functions.
Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
