We have an exciting opportunity with our Tier 1 mining client for a motivated Project Engineer to join their Project Delivery team. This role plays a key part in supporting growth projects at their mine site.
About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will work within the Engineering Team to support project framing, development, and execution. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, your responsibilities include but not limited too:
- Supporting project management, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
- Ensuring engineering designs meet the client standards and managing design risks.
- Reviewing construction methodologies and ensuring alignment with engineering processes.
- Identifying and addressing risks to keep projects on track.
- Driving safety and sustainability in project design and execution.
- Contribute and support all sustainability and safety in design processes across the project development (HAZID / HAZOP / RAMBO etc.)
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and relevant project experience.
- Previous experience working with engineering service providers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a complex environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A proactive approach with a focus on safety and project efficiency.
- Be Adelaide based and able to work 8:6 FIFO Roster
