We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Project Structural Engineers to join our clients team for a short term contract role. The successful candidates will play a critical role in providing structural engineering expertise on a large-scale mining project. You will be responsible for managing and delivering structural engineering solutions to support the project's design, construction, and operational phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with structural engineering activities, including designing and managing structural systems for mining projects.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and solutions to operational teams, addressing structural challenges on-site.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and best practices.
- Participate in risk management and ensure that structural integrity is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Engineer or related discipline.
- Proven experience in mining project engineering, with a strong background in structural engineering on mining projects.
- In-depth knowledge of structural design, analysis, and construction methods for mining infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of relevant safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Adelaide based preferred
