Randstad Defence is looking for a Project Cost Estimator to support the PMO office in the Department of Defence. As a Project Cost Estimator, you will work closely with project officers and program leads to ensure the cost estimates are developed according to Department of Defence’s policies.
About the Role
- Co-ordinate with project staff and team leads to prepare project cost estimates.
- Complete Costing Tool Templates provided by the Finance Department.
- Manage risks and issues related to costing estimates.
- Work with the project team to ensure project activities align with the costing estimates and are properly documented.
About You
- Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management/Financial Management or related discipline with Life cycle Costing experience for complex projects.
- Project Costing experience, either from the APS, ADF, or a consulting/professional services environment.
- Knowledge of One Defence Capability Systems is desirable.
- Proven ability to work with stakeholders in a collaborative and professional manner.
- Experience working in a Defence or Federal Government environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The candidate must be an Australian citizen and have a NV1 security clearance.
