An opportunity to join a vibrant flexible Australian Commercial fit out and refurbishment business, delivering mixed commercial projects up to $10 million. They run a harmonious, dedicated project team who are focussed, who enjoy a business offering mixed more niche projects on office fit outs, lobby fit outs, residential dwellings and heritage listed buildings, schools and churches.
As part of a team you will have exposure working for a builder as a project Co-oridnator with 1-2 years experience on commercial fit out projects over $500k AUD.
As a Project Co-ordinator you will join a company with a steady portfolio of upcoming projects which cross the marketplace from Residential to Commercial and occasional Industrial.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project coordination and program scheduling for multiple project schemes.
- Assist with estimates and tender submissions, budget and project pricing, preparing tender documents, fee proposals, scopes, procurement, BOQ’s - project works administration and contract finalisation.
- Assist in preparation of project budgets, subcontract agreements, progress claims and variations.
- Assist with Resource planning, including administering project costs in line with standards and procedures.
- Be client facing and involved in meetings.
- Provide general assistance to project managers.
Skills and experience of the Contracts Administrator
- 1-2 Years plus experience or work experience as a Contracts Administrator for an Australian Recognised Building Contractor.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative and be goal-oriented
- You must be a team player
- Ambitious and interested in company growth
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Planswift and Smart sheets proficiency advantageous.
- Knowledge of QHSE, WH&S, Hazardous materials and associated documentation.
