The role
Our Federal Government client has an urgent requirement to replace 2 positions which have recently become vacant. We are seeking experienced Program Managers with previous experience in Defence in similar positions. Work is to be carried out in a high tempo business office, working on a strategically important program. Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance (minimum) are essential for these positions.

Program Governance Manager (Level 3)
- Support project teams in the continued development of governance policies and procedures.
- Provide coordination support to the development and achievement of Program objectives; including developing documentation and frameworks.
- Support stakeholder engagement and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Take initiative to prioritise and progress work to meet business objectives and consider longer-term implications of own work.
- Provide additional ad hoc support to deliver objectives of the program as required and directed by the Commonwealth Representative.
- Manage and oversee the coordination of the client's governance forums, reporting on program performance and escalation of issues and opportunities.
- Working with many stakeholders and internal business areas to collate information and briefs to support senior governance forums.
- Providing quality assurance of products to senior management for decisions.
Program Controls Manager (Level 3)
- Support project teams in the continued development of program controls and procedures.
- Provide coordination support to the development and achievement of Program objectives; including developing documentation and frameworks.
- Support stakeholder engagement and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Take initiative to prioritise and progress work to meet business objectives and consider longer-term implications of own work.
- Provide additional ad hoc support to deliver objectives of the program as required and directed by the Commonwealth Representative.
- Manage and oversee the establishment of program controls for the delivery program, including schedule, scope, budget and risk.
- Output for this role feeds into the senior management decision making as well as reporting to governance forums.
- Work with stakeholders and internal business units, analysing performance information to inform decision makers.
