Join our Positive Ageing team at Mathers House as a Program & Community Engagement Officer and make a real impact!

• Start Date: From immediate to 30 May 2025
• Salary: $44.02 per hour + super
• Hours per week: Part time - 25 Hours per week
• Working times: Monday to Friday - 12 noon to 5.00pm

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate and support programs, events, and activities at Mathers and Criterion Houses.
• Manage venue bookings and assist with community activities, including launches and events.
• Develop and maintain promotional content, including newsletters, social media, and marketing materials.
• Support volunteers and community members in delivering successful initiatives.
• Maintain financial records, handle venue operations, and provide exceptional customer service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate III (or higher) in Community Services OR practical experience in the community sector.
• Strong administration and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, dynamic environment.
• Physical ability to assist with event setup and venue operations.
• Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People and Driver’s License (essential).
