Product Architect - API - 12 Month contract - Sydney/Hybrid
The Product Architect for API is a senior role interfacing across multiple internal teams to drive new product development anchored on Voice and API Product, and all aspects of Voice API Functions and features across many vendor technologies. We are seeking a hands-on Architect, who will be part of the product engineering team focusing on Voice and API solutions and features, understanding the architecture and design of the Enterprise Voice and API product.
About the role
- Lead the design, development and planning of solutions and technology standards to solve complex business problems
- Evangelize the Voice and API capability for emerging products, including Branded Call, API as Product and Fraud protection, and engaging the key product stakeholders.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business problems and user requirements and effectively communicate on projects throughout the development lifecycle; drive strategic client relationships
- Define and document architecture, capture and document non-functional (architectural) requirements, prepare estimates, perform reviews, prevent and drive resolution of technical issues
- Working with both the product architects and the infrastructure engineering team to design/ develop, and deliver to the Product roadmap
About you
- Experience architecting, designing, and developing complex, telco and enterprise grade, configurable, scalable products.
- Skills and experience in Carrier Voice and API as Product solution, including SIP, IMS, WebRTC, 3GPP Core Architecture, SBC.
- Knowledge of CPaaS and insight of how to turn Telco Voice and Messaging solution into API product
- A background in systems level thinking and design. Combined with the ability to translate technical strategy and architectures into concrete, minimal viable products, with the right trade-offs and phasing.
